At The Old Theatre Deli we are committed to using the best quality produce we can find.

We carefully source the finest products and ingredients, choosing where possible local and handmade products made by small scale artisan producers who take pride in what they do. We compliment these with top quality artisan foods from the rest of the UK and Europe. At the Old Theatre Deli you will find dairy products and meat from two miles away alongside the finest Olive Oils from Europe and delicious coffees from further afield.

Our philosophy when choosing ingredients centres on where it's sourced, how it's produced and the story behind it. All our products have a story to tell, whether they are from just down the road or further afield, and our knowledgeable and friendly staff are only too happy to share these stories with you. We believe food tastes a whole lot better when you know exactly where it comes from and we're sure you do too. We also host regular 'meet the supplier' tasting events so you can learn even more about the products you're buying and whos making them, as well as sampling them of course!

The Deli is bursting at the seams with an ever changing range of products. We sell locally made, organic artisan breads, the famous Hockerton Ham and other cooked and cured meats. Fine cheeses (including our stinker of the week) pastries, pickles, chutneys, preserves and mouth watering daily baked cakes, slices and biscuits. We also offer a wide selection of wine and speciality beers and spirits, and we'll be happy to recommend a perfect match to you. We're sure you'll find exactly what you're after - and if you don't, just ask us and we'll do our best to track it down for you.

Whenever you pop in, we'.ll always have a range of products for you to sample before you buy - we think it's really important especially if you're trying something new! We also have a lovely Eaterie, so you can combine your shopping with a coffee and a slice of cake, or even a glass of wine and some antipasto.
