The Old Theatre Deli is looking to recruit a Sous Chef to join jour established team in our fresh food kitchen. This creative role will include taking full responsibility for our grab and go section of the business whilst supporting and working with our head chef and team on service and prep. This is an attractive position consisting of mainly daytime shifts (occasional evenings) with an opportunity to progress within the business.
We operate a fast-paced kitchen serving fresh homemade food produced locally. We work closely with local growers and farmers to offer the finest local produce and work our menus around the season and its offerings. We operate a prepacked grab and go counter. Serve breakfast between 9-12, lunch between 12-4. We have a private dining room that caters up to 100 and we offer outside catering for up to 350. The roll includes preparing the seasonal menus and producing the hot and cold food for the grab and go and assisting the chefs with service, bookings and events.

The working pattern is made up of majority daytime shifts, including Saturdays and the occasional evenings. Previous experience in a similar roll is necessary.
